Workout Outfit on LIKEtoKNOWit. app
Ok guys! Sorry it took me a while to get this posted here but I’ve been NONSTOP with school, kids schedules and entertaining (yikes).. it seems like every weekend we have visitors and it’s SO hard NOT to party like we are on vaca with them. Literally peeps come visit and want to EAT AND DRINK the entire time π©. I feel like I actually do pretty well with this. I really don’t cheat during the week.
Since I began my snowbird sesh (still currently snowing in Chicago WTH π€£), I made a goal to change something in my diet. I completely X’d out all dairy and gluten from my diet. I know… you are prob like “OH GOSH NO WAY I can do that ” but when I tell you it’s actually not that hard and the results are #worthit. Not only did extra weight come off … I FELT AMAZING. Like literally NO belly bloat at all. My skin was sooo much better and my energy level was β‘.
To give you an example, I wrote down what I ate in a day (an average day without gluten and dairy) to show you there are SO many substitutes on the market for cheese and wheat.
Breakfast: “Good Food made Simple” egg white patties. I find them in the frozen aisle because WHO has time to make eggs in the am?! Seriously! I top it with “daiya” cheese and salsa. I always have a no-salt seasoning on hand too!
Lunch: “Wild planet” tuna mixed with avocado on top of “Lundberg” thin stackers.
Snack: I blended a smoothie with almond milk/banana & A whenever bar (chocolate chip coconut are my fav).
Dinner: Teriyaki marinated salmon over edamame noodles and Asian vegetables.
Dessert: SO delicious coconut milk bars
My fitness schedule is pretty much the same. I never take off. Here is what my week looks like:
Monday: 50 min of p90x or insanity.. I often do a night walk/run as well (30 min) BURN those weekend Cals β
Tuesday: 1 hour of kick boxing (local class)
Wednesday: 1 hour strength training (no sweating here just those small shaky movements)
Thursday: 45 min on the stair master/elliptical and watch my shows I missed that week. If it’s not too hot out I’ll do a beach run this day. PS I’m so not a runner but living by the ocean has inspired me so I can get in 4/5 miles in a run.
Friday: 45 boot camp (high intensity)
Saturday: strength training class (medium intensity)
Sunday: REST ππΌ
GOOD LUCK guys and thanks for reading! Please remember to subscribe down below for updates and futures blog posts. π
