Every stay truly gets better! We are already counting down the days till we could be back! C and I stumbled upon this resort 10 years ago on a road trip to Key West. Cheeca Lodge & Spa. Presidents including George Bush Sr. would frequent for the Islamorada Sailfish Tournament.
So much history within this Islamorada Lodge. We visit it once or twice every year. Our boys are so excited to spend their vacations here. Endless amount of activities are there but their favorite is the pier where you can purchase date and fish until your heart desires.
Turquoise water. Towering palms. Calm breezes. Romantic, serene, and dynamic, Florida Keys Islamorada resort is a standard of excellence achieved by few.

- 525-foot wooden fishing pier including rods for guest use and bait for purchase (no license needed)
Remember it’s the keys! So laid-back lifestyle of Islamorada. No heels or makeup needed. 🙌🏼

Must eat at Nikai Sushi Bar while you are there. Hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had! Order the Big Kahuna & Wahoo Tataki. 🤤
& a Jack Nicklaus-designed 9-hole golf course
To enjoy the full experience. I recommend staying in the oceanfront suites with their own bathtub overlooking the water. I do know that they have renovated Casitas if you’re looking for the ultimate splurge. 🤩
One month left here in Florida! And we are soaking in our little staycations and day trips!
